The RDS preventative maintenance package is a group of flat rate procedures designed to look for problems that are just starting to form and setup a few options that should prevent future issues from arising.

Each additional component after the base package is $5 and includes all the labor fees assoicaited with that component allowing you to pick and choose the set that is right for your needs.

Base Package $50 - 

1.)    Administrative settings

We setup an administrator account and change all existing accounts to be regular users. This prevents most malware from installing itself and if something does get through on your regular user account any damage is restricted to that account alone.

On the rare occasion you need to install something or update software the admin account is fully open for you to do so.

2.)    Installation of other browsers

Up to date chrome and firefox browsers are installed. This way if any browser has issues you will have at least 2 other browsers to use until the problem can be fixed.

3.)    Ram Testing

The memory chips are subjected to the stress testing of a full sweep of tests looking for any problems reading or writing to memory.  Bad RAM can cause a number of strange issues including BSOD

4.)    Harddrive testing

The hard drive is scanned using our testing software in level 5 testing mode. This will test every pit on the drive looking for issues. If issues are found the section of the drive is quarantined off and an alert generated. Additionally if corrupted data is found this will attempt a recovery of the data.

5.)    Microsoft update

We apply any and all possible updates to windows, office, and internet explorer as well as some drivers. These usually contain things like bug fixes and security fixes. 

Additional Components -

6.)    Case cleaning

Dust, dirt, lint, all of it clogs the innards of your system causing things to over heat and in some cases even make your machine run slower.

7.)    Motherboard reseat

Expansion cards, processor, connections, memory can all come loose if not properly secured. Well just make sure all the internal connections are tight and add a little thermal grease to the processor

8.)    Software removal

There are literally millions of different pieces of software out there. Not all of them are good. We’ll remove any software we find on your system that looks like it may cause you headache in the future.

9.)    Hard drive optimization

Compression, defragmenting, junk removal. Giving your machines that extra bit of speed when loading programs, and more space to save everything.

10.)    Startup optimization

Well install and configure a utility that can shave minutes off your boot up time.
